ExonanoRNA LLC is accepting resumes for the following full-time position at our Columbus, Ohio location: Pharmaceutics Development Scientist.
ExonanoRNA, LLC was established in 2017 to fill a market gap for the commercial production of high-quality RNA nanoparticles for research development and pre-clinical use. Our team is comprised of experienced scientists to efficiently coordinate a multidisciplinary effort to transition bio-nanotechnology, especially RNA nanotechnology from the bench to the clinic.
RNA nanotechnology allows the integration of multiple functional RNA modules into one nanoparticle, of which the scaffold, ligand, therapeutic molecule, and regulator can be composed mainly of RNA.
We research and develop a broad range of innovative products in the primary area of RNA nanotechnology-based platform for next generation targeted drug delivery and disease diagnosis.
Job Description:
The pharmaceutics development scientist will work closely with the Director of Research and Development.
Primary duties will include:
Partner with Company Leaders to manage the development and execution of RNA based therapeutics development projects; Provide vision, direction, leadership and focus for project teams in allocated therapy area once a project enters full development; Hand-on experiment for RNA nanodrug development projects, including study the candidates at cell level and animal level; Rodent dosing, sampling and necropsy; planning and performing of all technical aspects of in vivo experiments; contributing to experimental design and strategy; Performing laboratory assays according to SOPs, troubleshooting as needed; assay development; Generating data using both standard and novel molecular technologies; Maintaining careful laboratory notebooks and generating high quality study reports; Contributing to a team tasked with evaluating novel experimental medicines in preclinical models of disease, and advancing our technology to enable development of the next generation of innovative RNA-based therapeutics.
Required Experience:
Minimum: Advanced Degree (MBA, MS, Ph D) English (fluent mandatory) 5 years or more experience in pharmaceutical industry R&D work. Experience in Pharmaceutical industry drug development process and regulations all along the R&D value chain
Ideal: Experience in a Function such as research, clinical, preclinical, CMC or regulatory affairs with significant exposure to global teams in addition to Project/Program Leadership would be considered as a plus
