The Department of Biology invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track, Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in the Fall of 2019.  The successful candidate will teach courses in general biology, evolution, reading and writing in biology, and genetics to undergraduates. The ability to engage undergraduate students in research is optional but highly desired.  Candidates must have an earned doctorate, a dedication to teaching biology majors and non-majors, and teaching experience at the university level.

Arcadia’s College of Arts and Sciences offers programs in science, technology, and math; humanities; visual and performing arts; communications; and historical and political studies. These programs prepare students to be leaders in a global society by providing opportunities to exhibit, perform, and publish both on campus and in the Philadelphia area. The campus has a variety of outlets to support the arts and sciences, including art galleries, a literary magazine, and an online journal.
