The Neurovascular Center of the Vickie and Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience at Thomas Jefferson University seeks outstanding candidates for a faculty position at the Research Assistant Professor rank. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or an M.D./Ph.D. degree with a research background in a relevant discipline such as blood-brain-barrier, ischemia-reperfusion, stem cells, or neuroinflammation which complements existing programs in basic and translational neurosciences at Jefferson. Candidates must have a strong record of publications in high-­quality, peer-­reviewed journals and the ability to seek independent, extramural funding.

The Vickie and Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience at Jefferson brings together globally recognized researchers and physicians from neurosurgery, neurology, psychiatry and neuroscience to create Disease Centers working as integrated research and clinical strategic programs to treat brain disorders like stroke, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, ALS, MS, and brain tumors.
