The Labunskyy Laboratory at Boston University School of Medicine (http://labunskyylab.org) is looking for a talented and highly motivated post-doctoral candidate to work on a newly funded R01 project on Systems Biology of Aging. The candidate will join a dynamic multidisciplinary research team focused on solving the mechanisms of aging using a combination of experimental biology and quantitative approaches. Candidates should have, or will soon receive, a PhD in Molecular Biology, Computational Biology or related fields.

Candidates with background in yeast genetics, imaging/microscopy and/or aging biology are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior experience with both experimental and computational aspects of high-throughput sequencing (e.g. RNA-seq, ribosome profiling) and single cell approaches is highly desirable, but it is not a requirement. For computationally-trained candidates, knowledge of genomics, biostatitstics, and programming skills in a statistical language (Matlab, R) and/or a scripting language (e.g. Python) are required.

To apply for this position please send a CV, contact information for 3 references, and a brief letter describing research experience and interests to Dr. Vyacheslav Labunskyy, vlabuns@bu.edu
