Postdoctoral Associates in Virology

The Choe laboratory at The Scripps Research Institute (Florida campus) studies entry processes of a wide range of emerging RNA viruses.  More information can be found at <https://www.scripps.edu/faculty/choe/>

We are currently seeking a postdoctoral fellow motivated to study entry processes and the host factors involved in the infection of various RNA viruses including flaviviruses.  We are also recruiting a postdoc fellow interested in the directed evolution of HIV-1. The laboratory studies a wide range of viruses, combining molecular techniques and in vivo experiments.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field and effective oral communication skills.  Competency in molecular and cellular biology and experience in virology is necessary. Although not required, experience with animals is a plus.
