Postdoc fellowship position available in Nanomedicine, Drug Delivery and Auditory Neuroscience directed by Professor Daqing Li, MD at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine. The ongoing research projects are fully funded by the National Institute of Health/National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorder NIDCD) and have strong translational applications. Based on our unique targeted inner ear nano delivery system, the research will be collaborating with Bioengineering, at School of Engineering and Chemistry, at School of Art and Science to develop novel noninvasive approaches to treat inner ear diseases with hearing loss. The Perelman School of Medicine is currently ranked #3 by US News and #5 by NIH funding.
Successful postdoc candidates must hold a PhD or MD/PhD in the field of biomedical engineering, polymer chemistry, biomaterials, nanomedicine including designing, fabricating and characterizing nanoparticles, drug delivery, auditory neuroscience and other related biomedical research. The position requires self-motivated and driven candidates and will be paid according to the 2019 NIH postdoc pay scale. Applicants should be able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
