Postdoctoral Research Scientist In Genetics and Immunology

 A position is available in the Gharavi Lab to perform NIH-funded research on the biology of immune-mediated kidney diseases in humans and mouse models. The candidate will employ genetics and immunological approaches to perform functional studies related to recently discovered genes for immune-mediated nephritis, particularly IgA nephropathy or C3 glomerulopathy. The position requires strong skills in molecular biology and immunology.  By the completion of the project, the postdoctoral scientist will become proficient in genetic and immunological studies in humans and mouse models.
