Our laboratory is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow is a post-graduate-level entry position in which the individual is responsible for assisting with research activities as well as conducting independent research projects when appropriate under limited supervision. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join a lab that is developing chimeric antigen receptors (CAR) to target hematologic malignancies. The other major aim of the laboratory will be to use mouse models to understand what role the immune system plays in the CAR T cell rejection of targeted cancers. These complementary aims will allow the development and optimization of CAR-modified T cells, first in mice, and then in humans.
