The Jihye Yun lab at Baylor College of Medicine (Molecular and Human Genetics) works on untangling the relationship between diet, metabolism, microbiome, and cancer with an emphasis on discovering novel strategies to prevent and treat cancers.
Required: Candidate must have a doctoral degree in analytical chemistry or related disciplines and should have extensive experiences LC-MS/MS instrument (accurate mass) such as Q-TOF or QE.
Candidate should have in-depth technical knowledge in the field of metabolism (preferably human and mammalian), identification and quantitative analysis of global metabolomics and isotope-labeled metabolomics. Additional experiences in metabolic flux analysis and computational skills are preferred.
Candidates should be enthusiastic about collaborative and interdisciplinary research, be motivated to develop as an independent scientist, and demonstrate excellent scientific communication skills.
