Position Summary

A part-time Research Associate I opportunity is immediately available at City of Hope Beckman Research Institute to participate in clinical trial sample analysis. This work will include sample preparation and processing, record-keeping, and data evaluation. Strong organizational skills are required. The position will require a maximum of 20 hours/week.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate the processing of clinical trial samples (requires record-keeping of sample analysis).
  • Perform high-throughput workup of samples.
  • Making buffer solutions and performing mathematical calculations.
  • Prepare samples for analysis.


Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related field.


Preferred education experience and skills:
  • Demonstration of organizational skills and responsibility.
  • Basic understanding of lab techniques some experience preferred
