Position Summary

The T Cell Immunotherapy Program at COH is a fast-paced lab involved in cutting-edge technology, research and clinical immunotherapy studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are currently looking for a staff scientist who will lead a correlative studies team for our CAR T cell clinical trials in brain tumors.
  • The PhD candidate will ideally have considerable experience in the fields of immunology, immunotherapy and cancer/brain tumor biology.
  • Expertise in handling of high-dimensional analysis of primary tissues, including multiparameter flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry and/or gene expression profiling is highly preferred.
  • This position will interact and collaborate with a team of researchers focused on developing T cell therapies in a translational research environment.

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

  • Ph.D degree with research experience in the fields of immunology immunotherapy and cancer/brain tumor biology; a publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
  • Ability to effectively lead a research team to successfully meet project goals.
  • Ability to design and execute laboratory experiments, critically interpret experimental results, and present data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to participate in the preparation of grant applications, scientific publications, and IND submissions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience:
  • Immunology expertise, prior postdoc experience, with cell biology and animal work.
  • T cell therapy and/or oncolytic virus experience, a big plus.
