A postdoctoral fellowships is available to study the biochemistry and molecular biology of redox modifications of proteins in order to understand their roles in cellular biology and in disease. Our research currently focuses on the oxidation and reduction of methionine in proteins, with an emphasis on the methionine sulfoxide reductases. The fellowship is fully funded and you may start anytime from now through the end of 2019. Candidates should have either an M.D. degree with research experience or a Ph.D. in a relevant field and a history of productivity as evidenced by prior publications. Your training must have been completed within the past five years. Salary is commensurate with your research experience. If you have just received your doctoral degree, it is currently $54,100 per year.
