Co-Op, Analytical Development

The Role:

The Analytical Development group is responsible supporting characterization and analysis of mRNA Drug Substance and Drug Product. This work will require a high attention to detail and a critical mind. A Co-op can expect to be exposed to method development, several different Characterization and Release methods, and troubleshooting investigational work. Chemistry majors are encouraged to apply.

This position will work in the Analytical Development at Moderna. The work for this Co-op will rely heavily on chemistry lab techniques and equipment to analyze samples and help develop the next generation of analytical methods. Co-op will also be generating and analyzing mRNA and lipid nanoparticle samples in order to develop novel techniques. The Co-op will also be exposed to data analysis, and high-throughput method optimization. Co-op will be training in a variety of analytical techniques including HPLC, UV-Vis, and Gas Chromatography.
