Associate Professor or Professor Faculty Position in Cell and Molecular Biology
The University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago invites outstanding individuals to apply for a faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor or full Professor in the field of cell and molecular biology. The position will be charged with developing a cutting-edge and successful research program and requires someone with a track record of accomplishments.
Candidates should have demonstrated leadership in developing transformative concepts or technologies. All candidates should have a PhD and/or MD degree, as well as an outstanding publication and funding track record in one or more of these areas (other areas may also be considered): 1) stem cell biology and tissue regeneration 2) cellular signaling; 3) genome editing; 4) systems biology or computational biology or 5) bioengineering. The department has strong research and training programs (http://mcph.uic.edu/home) and consistently ranks among the top 10 nationally. A highly competitive startup package will be offered. This is a star recruit position.
