Associate II, Quality Assurance (Training)

The Role:

This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high growth organization that is radically changing the biotech industry. Moderna has built a state-of-the-art, LEED certified, cGMP manufacturing facility in Norwood, MA. This 200k sq. foot campus is critical as we continue to move more of our therapies into the clinic and require in-house manufacturing.

Reporting to the Associate Director, QA Systems and Compliance, the Associate II, Quality Assurance (Training) is responsible for managing day-to-day training operations. Tasks include reviewing/uploading new training content to the LMS, managing employee training curricula, and setting up training for weekly new hires. Additionally, the Associate II will contribute to continuous improvement projects for training at Moderna.

Here's What You'll Do:
  • Manage training curricula for GXP Manufacturing, Preclinical Manufacturing, and various support staff
  • Manage training assignments for all GXP and Preclinical new hires
  • Support the day-to-day administration of the Learning Management System (SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Review and upload new learning content as needed
  • Assist the configuration of the LMS and Document Management System (DMS) to support evolving training needs across functional areas
  • Work with QA Document Control to ensure new documents are appropriately integrated with the LMS for training
  • Work directly with area leadership to analyze, develop, and execute on training needs
  • Continually track training metrics and provide data to area managers, as needed
  • Perform Annual Review of cGMP personnel files (CVS, Job Descriptions, Learning Plans, Signature Forms)
  • Perform tasks as needed to maintain GXP compliance


Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • Minimum of 1 year system administration experience with an LMS (SAP SuccessFactors preferred)
  • Minimum 1-2 year experience in a GMP functional setting
  • BS Degree in a Scientific Discipline (ie. Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering)
