The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, College of Science and College of Medicine at the University of Arizona, is seeking an outstanding teacher/scholar/administrator for a full-time position as Head of the Department. Successful candidates are required to have a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related field; current rank of professor; experience in academic leadership in higher education in an environment with diverse students, staff members, and colleagues; excellent record in research and scholarship; and proven experience in teaching and academic service.
The search committee will start to review applications on June 15, 2019 and will continue until the position is filled.
