Post Doctoral Researcher
The Division of Degenerative and Deformity Spinal Surgery in the Department of Neurological Surgery seeks a Post Doctoral Researcher to join our team. The Post Doctoral Researcher will join a team working on large scale longitudinal projects that involve collaboration between the principal investigator, H. Francis Farhadi, and the Departments of Neurology and Physical Therapy.
The Post Doctoral Researcher will collect and analyze biological, neuroimaging, and functional data; perform standard statistical analysis; prepare research for publication and presentation; prepare and deliver conference presentations for dissemination of acquired research knowledge; and assist in writing grant applications.
The position will be located in the Department Neurological Surgery and is available for one year with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
Required qualifications include a M.D. and/or Ph.D. in a related field. Desired qualifications include molecular/cellular experience, neuroimaging experience, training and expertise in statistical/analytical approaches.
