1949 witnessed the establishment of Hunan University of Commerce (HNUC) located in the historical and cultural city of Changsha of Hunan Province, P. R. China. With Yuelu Mountain to its south and Xiang River to the east, the university enjoys a convenient transportation and pleasant environment. It is a provincial university with both bachelor and master degree majors covering an area of economics, management, law, literature, science and engineering, and liberal arts. It was appraised as Excellence in the Undergraduate Teaching Quality Evaluation Program by the National Education Ministry in 2007. During the last three years, the university has won various honors such as one of the "Applied Universities of Integration of Production and Education Project of the National Thirteenth Five-year Plan”, one of the first batch of “Top 100 Model Universities of Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform", the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base of Practical Education and one of the top 50 universities of National Innovation and Entrepreneurship. HNUC has been rated as one of the first-class discipline construction universities in China while its Management Science and Engineering have been selected into the list of the first-class construction discipline in China and its Applied Economics has been selected as the first-class cultivation discipline in China. Six first-level disciplines, including Management Science and Engineering, Applied Economics, Theoretical Economics, Business Administration, Law and Marxism, are listed in Shanghai ranking "China's best disciplines ranking 2018". Among those disciplines, Management Science and Engineering ranks in the top 10% of its discipline branch, the NO.1 in Hunan; Applied economics in the top 25%; Theoretical Economics and Law in the top 50%. The university has been ranked as the top 19 among Financial and economic universities by CUAA as well.
There are a number of nationally distinguished scholars, including Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering; Members of Appraisal Group of the State Council; Chief Professors of National Natural Science Foundation Innovative Research Group; Chief Professors of the Yangtze River Scholars Innovative Research Team; Members of both Natural Science Committee and Social Science Committee, Ministry of Education; National Distinguished Young Scholars; leading scholars from “Overseas high-level talents introduction program” in Philosophy and Social Science; National Outstanding Teachers; first and second batch of National Selectees of “Overseas high-level talents introduction program”; etc.
The university has 14 schools and 70 research institutes. There are 50 undergraduate programs and over 21,000 full time students on campus. It has been authorized to award master degrees for 16 disciplines,among which there are 8  first-level disciplines,  8 majors for Professional master degrees and 35 secondary-level disciplines. There have been established a batch of provincial discipline construction platforms such as Provincial Key Disciplines, Provincial 2011 Collaborative Innovation Center, Hunan Key Laboratory, Provincial Social Science Research Base and so on.

I. Targets
1. Those who have acquired long-term tenures or corresponding posts in domestic and overseas well-known universities or research institutions or associate professors with doctoral degrees or corresponding posts are welcome.
2. High quality doctors graduated from well-known universities or research institutes both home and abroad candidates who will graduate before 30th December 2019 are welcome. 
3. Those who have achieved some academic achievements in certain fields, or have obvious academic potential with excellent academic and professional ethics are welcome.

II. Recruitment Requirements and Treatments
1.Disciplinary (or Direction) chiefs
1)Major Requirements: 
Theoretical Economics, Applied Econometrics, Business Administration, Accounting, Management Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Electronics and Information Engineering, Big Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, Mobile Internet Development and Application, Internet of Things, Applied Mathematics, Marxist Theory.
2) Employ Modes and Treatments: 
Mode 1: Full-time 
Academicians, A-level candidate of "Overseas high-level talents introduction program", Exceptional Talent Candidate of "Ten-Thousand Talents Plan": salary, settling-in allowance, housing subsidies and other matters are negotiable. 
Distinguished/Chair Professors of the “Yangtze River Scholar”; awardees of National Distinguished Young Scholars Fund;leading scholars from "Ten-Thousand Talents Plan"; candidates of "Overseas high-level talents introduction program", National-level Selectee of “Overseas high-level talents introduction program”; 973 chief scientists;and candidate of "Overseas high-level talents introduction program" of Chinese Academy of Sciences:

  •  Annual salary is one-two millionRMB;
  •  Provide settling-in allowance of 160 square meter housing and purchase subsidies (By the standard of the average price of commodity housing in Yuelu district, Changsha city with 1 month before contract signing).

973 young chief scientists; young leading scholars from the "Ten-Thousand Talents Plan"; “Young Yangtze River Scholars”, awardees of “Overseas high-level talents introduction program”, awardees of National Distinguished Young Scholars Fund, awardees of "the Furong Scholar": 

  • annual salary is 0.5-0.8 million RMB,
  • Provide settling-in allowance of 140 square meter housing and purchase subsidies (By the standard of the average price of commodity housing in Yuelu district, Changsha city with 1 month before contract signing).

Overseas full-time professors by annual salary system:

  • Annual salary is 0.5-1million RMB; 
  • Research start-up and International exchange fee is 0.3 million RMB;
  • Moving expenses is 10,000RMB;
  • If makeshift shelter can’t be arranged during the period of employment, we will provide housing subsidies 20,000RMB per year.

Overseas part-time professors by non-annual salary system:

  • Enjoy the same standard of salary and remuneration as corresponding faculty of the university;
  • Settling-in allowance and housing subsidies is 0.5-1 million RMB;
  • Research start-up and International exchange fee is 0.3 million RMB;
  • Moving expenses is 10,000RMB; 
  • professors with doctoral degrees are entitled to another60,000RMB.

Overseas full-time associate professors by annual salary system:

  • Annual salary is 0.4-0.6 million RMB;
  • Research start-up and International exchange fee is 0.3 million RMB;
  • Moving expenses is 10,000RMB;
  • If makeshift shelter can’t be arranged during the period of employment, we will provide housing subsidies 20,000RMB per year.

Overseas part-time associate professors by non-annual salary system:

  • Enjoy the same standard of salary and remuneration as corresponding faculty of the university;
  • Settling-in allowance and housing subsidies is 0.3-0.6 million RMB;
  • Research start-up and International exchange fee is 0.3 million RMB;
  • Moving expenses is 10,000RMB;
  • Associate professors with doctoral degrees are entitled to another 60,000RMB.

Above treatments don’t include those provided by provincial and national governments. According to necessary needs of disciplinary development, the university will allocate corresponding research start-up funds (The specific amount is negotiable), relocation housingand workshops, and assist in arrangements of spouse jobs, children’s education and so on.
Once employed, they can compete for the university’s “151 Talent Team Project” and are entitled to corresponding treatments. 
Mode 2: Part-time 
Negotiable.
2.Scholars with Doctorates
1) Major Requirements: 
Economics, Management, Finance, Accounting, Management Science and Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science and Technology, Information and Communication Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Mobile Internet Development and Application of Internet of Things, Law, Chinese Language and Literature, Foreign Language and Literature, Journalism and Communication, Art Design, Marxist Philosophy, Physical Exercise, etc. The number of posts waiting for talents is unlimited.
2)Qualifications:
The posts are open for doctoral graduates. Among three phases of undergraduate, masters and PhD, two of them (esp. PhD major) should be related with the research area they are employed in the university, and at least one phase is by 985 or 211 universities. The first phase should be full-time four years. They should meet the requirements of the university’s academic performance appraisal of new faculty. Those who have overseas study or working experiences are preferred. Those who are extraordinarily excellent, the qualification may be more flexible.
3)Treatments
Long-term tenure
(1) Performing duties according to positions applied and the treatment will be determined by contract. 
(2) Introduction fee:

  • Settling-in allowance and housing subsidies is 150,000RMB; 
  • Research start-up fee is 100,000RMB;
  • Rare talents in such majors as   Accounting, Finance, Big Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Mobile Internet Development and Application,Internet of Things and so on are provided an additional 50,000 to 100,000RMB;
  • Moving expenses is 10,000RMB;
  • Those who pass annual assessment after two years’ work can enjoy associate professor’s salary of the basic level.

By annual salary system
①Annual salary is 200,000 RMB; 

②Research start-up fee is 100,000RMB;

③Moving expenses is 10,000RMB;

④If makeshift shelter can’t be arranged during the period of employment, we will provide 20,000RMB housing subsidies per year; 

⑤Employment term is three years. Those who pass the first employment term can choose to continue the second term or long-term tenure to enjoy corresponding treatments.
