Drug Discovery - Tenure Leading Position / Rank DOQ

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the College of Pharmacy, University of Nebraska Medical Center (Omaha, NE) invites applications for a tenured/tenure-leading faculty position (open rank) in drug discovery, broadly defined. Applicants whose research areas complement current strengths in the Department are of special interest; for example, these include chemical biology, biophysics, computational chemistry and target validation. The candidate should have a Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience. The ideal candidate is expected to establish a dynamic, cutting-edge, externally funded research program and actively participate in graduate training. The College is currently ranked 10th overall in the U.S among U.S. pharmacy schools in NIH research support. The Department is a highly collaborative environment and the candidate will be expected to foster collaborations with faculty members within the College of Pharmacy and the wider UNMC campus. In addition, teaching within the professional and graduate program is required.
