The Faculty of Science at the University of Zurich invites applications for an

Assistant Professor Tenure Track in Systematic and Comparative Botany

We seek innovative applicants with a strong record in research; experience in teaching is desirable. Applicants with expertise in plant macroevolution, phylogenomics, compara-tive morphology, biodiversity-informatics, macroecology, or herbarium genomics are particularly encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant is expected to develop a comple-mentary and independent research program in systematic botany and to acquire external funding. Contributions to the existing under graduate and graduate teaching efforts in systematics, evolution, and organismic botany will also constitute an integral part of the position. The successful applicant will be located at the campus Botanical Garden of the University of Zurich.
