Postdoctoral Research Associate
Two postdoctoral research associate positions are available immediately in the Baozhong Wang lab at the Institute for Biomedical Sciences at Georgia State University to study the immune correlates of newly designed nanoparticle and dissolvable microneedle patch-based universal influenza vaccines. These positions are funded by NIH grants. Researchers in these positions will be compensated the standard NIH postdoctoral fellow salary and have university benefits.
We are seeking self-motivated and goal-driven postdoctoral candidates, with a PhD or MD/PhD in immunology, virology/microbiology or related fields and who are skilled in immunological analysis and related disciplines. Previous experience with cell culture (mammal, insect, and bacterial), virus culture, protein purification, animal handling (mice), flow cytometry, immunofluorescence microscopy, ELISpot, ELISA, vaccine design, immunization, adjuvants, or immunological assays would be helpful. The candidate should be able to work both independently and in a collaborative environment, with a strong commitment to reaching research excellence and achieving assigned objectives.
