A full time postdoctoral position is available immediately at the University of Iowa to work on signaling mechanisms underlying breast cancer progression.

The project is centered on the role of cancer stem cells in breast cancer progression and responses to immune therapies, using a combination of biochemical and molecular techniques in cultured cells, xenograft and genetically engineered mouse models. A qualified candidate for this position is expected to have a strong publication record and excellent references from Ph.D. research. A notable feature of this postdoctoral fellowship will have a strong molecular biology and biochemistry background and tissue culture skills and experience in studying signaling mechanisms of cancer progression. Experience in working with animal to address fundamental mechanisms of cancer progression is preferred but not required. Proficiency in communicating and writing in English is required.
