A Postdoctoral Fellow position in cancer biology is available in the laboratory of Dr. Yulia Nefedova located at the Wistar Institute on the campus of University of Pennsylvania. The laboratory is focused on identification and targeting mechanisms by which bone marrow microenvironment promotes tumor progression. The successful candidate will be working on the project aimed to understand regulation of immune responses in the tumor microenvironment.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that has MD and/or PhD in cancer biology, immunology, molecular biology, or relevant field. Prior experience is required with handling mice and with some of the following techniques: flow cytometry, mammalian cell culture, primary cell isolation, and basic molecular biology techniques. Experience with immunological techniques and working with samples from cancer patients is preferred.
