Postdoctoral Positions are available in the Department of Pathology, School of Medicine and Health Sciences, at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks ND. A multidisciplinary, collaborative research group conducts investigation into the effect of heavy metals on bladder carcinogenesis as well as renal toxicology and the development of renal disease. Experimental systems consist of cell culture models coupled with xenotransplantation. Techniques include flow cytometry of stem cells, global gene expression analysis, epigenetics, characterization of differentiation patterns, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition, immunohistochemistry, laser-capture microdissection, digital PCR and confocal microscopy. Candidates with experience in any of the above techniques and/or areas of research or experience in general molecular toxicology are encouraged to apply. The position comes with full benefit package including family health insurance. Salary 35 to 50K, commensurate with experience.
