Dr. Pamela Munster is a medical oncologist and co-director of the BRCA and Early phase clinics at UCSF. Her research focuses on the development of novel therapeutic strategies and their translation to the clinic. A key area of her research seeks to exploit epigenetic targets as a means to improve current therapeutic approaches for the treatment of cancer.
For this position, Dr. Munster seeks a dynamic and self-motivated post-doctoral fellow to further explore the relationship between cancer epigenetics and the immune system in "BRCA-like" disease and the therapeutic potential of targeting both. This individual would preferably have a strong understanding of cancer biology and immunology. This project provides the opportunity to develop a new treatment strategy, characterize the underlying mechanism, translate the regimen to the clinic, and to conduct the associated correlative clinical research.
Interested candidates should provide a CV with cover letter.
