I  Forum Introduction

The “Face to Face with NUIST Presidents" Frontier Forum aims to build a platform of exchanges and cooperation for young talents of different academic backgrounds from home and abroad. Through the president's report, policy introduction, communication with schools, visit to the city of Nanjing and Jiangbei New District and other activities, we seek to promote cross-disciplinary exchanges and academic innovation, to enhance mutual cooperation and trust and to deepen the comprehensive understanding of NUIST, we encourage outstanding young scholars to come back to China with your innovation and entrepreneurship through various national talent introduction plans. Let’s make NUIST a first-class high-level university with distinct characteristics.

We warmly welcome young talents in the fields of atmospheric science, environmental ecology, remote sensing, electronic information, mathematical physics, chemical materials, humanities and business management, etc. to the forum!

II Requirements for Participation

Well-known experts, scholars, leading talents and young talents with great academic potential, who have doctoral degrees from famous overseas universities or have domestic doctorates and work full-timely overseas for no less than than one year are invited to apply for participation.

III Schedule

Time: May 12-14, 2019

May 12, 2019: Check-in

May 13, 2019: Opening Ceremony, President's Report; Policy Introduction, Communication with schools

May 14, 2019: Visit the city of Nanjing and Jiangbei New District

Place: Nanjing, Jiangsu

IV ParticipationTreatment

Free local accommodation; participants can book their own air tickets and have the tickets reimbursed by the organizer. (economy class by plane or second-class seat by high-speed train, round-trip taxi fare between the airport/train station and NUIST; outstanding participants can apply for business class by plane or first-class seat by high-speed train).

V  Notice

1. Application deadline: April 30, 2019;

2. Application materials: Application Form and relevant personal information to email address forum@nuist.edu.cn, and name the subject of the email as "Frontier Forum + Name + applying XX School". NUIST will organize interview in batches (usually once a week) according to the application time. Applicants will receive the organizer's invitation email by May 3, 2019 at the latest.
