Several positions (Senior Scientist and Postdoctoral) are available in Eric Verdin’s lab at the Buck Institute (Novato, CA) to study the molecular virology of HIV.
The Verdin lab studies mechanisms of HIV latency in T cells and HIV biology in macrophages/microglia. Current focus areas are the phenotypic characterization of latently infected cells, the identification of novel therapies to interfere with the HIV latent reservoir, and the biology of HIV infection in macrophages and microglia.
