Covance Central Laboratory Services Inc. – Client Services Manager I - Indianapolis, IN. Manage all aspects of quote, proposal & RFI development for laboratory testing opportunities. Manage laboratory testing opportunities establish clear timelines to meet client requirement, anticipate obstacles & provide solutions. Review RFP/quote requests. Work w/Operations, Finance, Account Executives & others to compile proposal response. Ensure timely delivery of biology proposals to clients. Perform data entry into SFDC, CMS & other databases, including updates, proposal number requests & generating both regularly scheduled & impromptu reports. Identify & resolve issues around client inquiry requirements. Create & implement new processes to improve business. Travel required: 5% to training meetings or other Covance offices. At least bachelor’s or its equiv. in Biology, Medical Technology, or a rltd fld & at least 4 years of prior work exp. in direct CRO/pharma or related business. Must possess: at least 2 yrs of exp. reading & interpreting clinical trials protocols & ascertaining necessary lab services to create an estimated lab services budget; at least 2 yrs of exp. w/laboratory testing including instrumentation & methodology; at least 2 years of exp. w/laboratory regulatory requirements & specifically what services can or cannot be offered under CAP/CLIA; & at least 2 yrs of exp. working w/clients to propose solutions dependent on client requirements.
