The Department of Biomedical Sciences, Joan C Edwards School of Medicine, Marshall University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, in the area of Addiction. Minimum requirements include Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences or related field, M.D. or equivalent, and at least two years of postdoctoral experience. We are particularly interested in applicants whose research focuses on drug, alcohol or smoking addiction. The successful candidate will be expected to develop/maintain an extramurally funded research program, teach medical students, participate in the interdisciplinary Biomedical Sciences graduate program and contribute to the service activities of the department. Candidates must also possess excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
