Position Summary
The T Cell Therapeutics Research Laboratory (TCTRL) is a fast-paced lab involved in cutting edge technology, research and clinical immunotherapeutic programs. The TCTRL currently has an opening for a Staff Scientist who will work on the preclinical and clinical development of CAR T cells targeting hematological malignancies.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Responsibilities will include design and execution of in vitro cell-based studies and in vivo therapy models.
  • Work hours may vary.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in lab work as well as accurate record keeping and lab documentation is a must.
  • The candidate will also work to produce high quality written scientific documents for publications, funding and regulatory filings for clinical trials.
  • This position will interact and collaborate with a team of scientists highly trained in T cell translational research.

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • PhD required.
  • Requires excellent written and verbal English, excellent organizational and time management skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and competence with internet searches.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, and perform and prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks.
  • Requires use of discretionary initiative and judgment when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to critically interpret experimental results, and present data in a cogent and meaningful manner.

Preferred education experience and skills:


  • Degree preferably in immunology, biology, biochemistry, or other related life science.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the fields of immunology and cancer biology.
  • Experience in writing manuscripts, grants and/or regulatory filings (e.g., FDA IND applications), is preferred.
