Faculty Position in Virology

The Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Minnesota Medical School invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. We seek a scientist working in the area of virology who will establish a competitive research program with the potential to complement the University’s research strengths in host-pathogen interactions, immunity and host defense, cell biology, genetics, genomics, physiology, drug discovery, translational research, and clinical trials. The successful candidate will join a large vibrant research community spanning multiple colleges, centers, and institutes at the University of Minnesota. Minimum qualifications: Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent in a relevant field of study, plus applicable postdoctoral or faculty experience.
