Faculty Position in Pharmacology

The Department of Pharmacology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor who will conduct ground-breaking, extramurally-funded research and contribute to the educational missions of the department. We are especially interested in candidates who investigate basic and translational topics of modern pharmacology applied to any of a wide range of molecular targets and diseases including cardiovascular disorders, cancer, pain, epilepsy, addiction, neurological disorders, and psychiatric disease.  Expertise in pharmacogenomics, developing novel disease models including stem cell-derived platforms, genome editing, drug discovery and other cutting edge methodologies is highly desirable. Successful candidates will be assigned newly renovated laboratory space and generous start-up packages to transition their independent research programs to a collegial and collaborative scientific environment that is rich with core facilities and diverse expertise.

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
