The Position
We are currently looking for a highly motivated Senior Scientific Researcher in the Discovery Oncology Department, to discover and validate new targets in cancer biology. The successful candidate will join a research team that combines cutting-edge gene engineering, cell biology, functional genomics, and bioinformatics to uncover novel approaches to target cancer. She/he will be expected to work creatively, independently and collaboratively.
 

Who You Are
An ideal candidate should have a strong background in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics or Biochemistry, and a Ph.D in a related discipline. Qualified candidates will possess the proven ability to work independently and have published their work in peer reviewed journals. He/she should have technical skills in molecular biology and cell biology. A working knowledge of Next-Gen Sequencing (NGS) and gene expression analysis is also preferred. Bioinformatics experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a team environment are required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential.
