Postdoc Research Associate - Obstetrics and Gynecology

The postdoctoral position will investigate the molecular and epigenetic mechanism underlying pathogenesis of uterine fibroids.

Key Responsibilities/Duties: Use tissue culture, flow cytometry/cell sorting, analysis and interpretation of next generation sequencing techniques, molecular techniques, and experimental animal models to characterize how abnormal myometrial stem cells contribute to the development of uterine fibroids. The opportunity also exists to explore other areas of interest related to this project. (Mas et al, Fertil Steril, 2015, Mas et al,  Stem Cells 2016 ; Mas et al, Biol Reprod 2017; Pruninski et al, Biol Reprod 2018; Pruninski et al, Reprod Sci 2018; Pruninski et al, Am J Pathol 2018; Ali et al, Acta Pharmacol Sin 2018; Ali et al, Reprod Sci 2018).  

Minimum Qualifications: MD and/or PhD in stem cell biology, reproductive biology, epigenetics, molecular biology or related fields are required.
