Faculty Position, Department of Radiation Oncology

We seek faculty candidates with research interests in radiation biology for a tenure-track position, rank based on qualifications. Translational research investigator with expertise in Radiation Biology. Scientists studying cancer with a focus on improving radiation therapy, cellular and molecular effects of radiation therapy on normal tissue; and/or translational research in radiation biology should apply. It is envisioned that this candidate will collaborate with cancer researchers in associated clinical and basic science departments. The successful applicant will develop a well-funded research program and contribute to graduate and medical teaching. The faculty member will collaborate with related clinical and basic science departments in the Upstate Cancer Center with a future vision of achieving NCI-designation as a Comprehensive Cancer Center. Candidates should have a Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D, or equivalent, postdoctoral experience, a strong publication record, and a track record of independent research accomplishments. Current extramural funding is strongly preferred.
