CLINICAL ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

The Department of Biology at New York University invites applicants to apply for a Clinical Assistant Professor appointment to begin as early as May 15, 2019, pending budgetary and administrative approval. This is a teaching position. The responsibilities include leading the introductory Principles of Biology laboratory course and serving as Faculty Director of the teaching laboratories, a role that involves managing the teaching lab staff and collaborating with other faculty to develop, assess, and disseminate innovative lab-based courses. Applicants should hold a PhD and have relevant research and teaching experience. The Department of Biology offers an outstanding and collegial environment for research and teaching.
