Post Graduate Associate
Research Trainee for Clinical Hematology/Oncology
A position is available for a full-time research trainee (Post Graduate Associate) to work on projects involving clinical research studies in Oncology. The individual will work directly with the clinical Principal Investigator helping to develop databases from clinical data used for research studies. The individual will coordinate with biostatistics and help to draft manuscripts using the database. The individual will also help with coordination of clinical samples of blood and skin biopsies and cataloging of samples in the database as well as interface with the Clinical Trials office and obtain clinical trials training with the opportunity for inclusion in research papers and written reports. The individual will work with the investigator to design and implement clinical trials and be trained in good clinical practice and participate in regulatory approval meetings for clinical and translational trials including the protocol review committee and the institutional review board. The individual will obtain training in basic biostatistics, and participate in Hematology and Lymphoma Tumor Boards, journal clubs and other research meetings.
Candidates should have a minimum of a BA or BS. Experience with databases is encouraged but not required for the position.
The position is full-time for a minimum of 1 year to start on or after April 1, 2019.
