Two Post-Doctoral trainee positions are available at the University of Rochester within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology to support research in antimicrobial drug discovery and bacterial pathogenesis, respectively. Successful applicants should have a strong background in microbiology and biochemistry or molecular biology. Individuals with experience in animal models of infection and high throughput screening are highly encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. in a relevant field and strong demonstration of research accomplishments is required. Individuals must be able to work efficiently with a highly integrated research team, yet independently develop and perform studies and quickly interpret data in real time.
