Postdoctoral Positions at Institute for Pediatric Regenerative Medicine, University of California at Davis, School of Medicine

Multiple postdoctoral positions are available at the Institute for Pediatric Regenerative Medicine (IPRM) in UC Davis Medical Center. This well-equipped institute is a joint initiative of the UC Davis School of Medicine and the Shriners Hospitals for Children established in 2005, that conducts dynamic research in basic and translational sciences related to child health and disease.

IPRM research groups are headed by David Pleasure and Fuzheng Guo (glial biology and disease); Paul Knoepfler (stem cells and cancer biology); Wenbin Deng (glial biology and iPSC disease models); Chengji Zhou (organogenesis and structural birth defects); Laura Borodinsky (neural tube defects and regeneration); Aijun Wang and Diana Farmer (spina bifida and stem cell therapies); Konstantinos Zarbalis (neural and craniofacial development); Veronica Martinez-Cerdeno (neurodevelopmental disorders); Athena Soulika (neuroimmunology and wound healing); Iannis Adamopoulos (osteoimmunology); and David Greenhalgh and Kiho Cho (burn wound healing and genomics). The IPRM provides an excellent research environment.  Postdoctoral salaries are at the latest NIH scale, plus fringe benefits/health insurance. Self-motivated candidates who hold a PhD or equivalent degree in an appropriate area and have generated solid publications are particularly welcome to apply.
