1-YEAR LEAVE REPLACEMENT POSITION –

BIOLOGY/NEUROBIOLOGY

(START FALL 2019)

GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Department of Biology invites applications for a 1-year leave replacement position in Biology/Neurobiology beginning fall 2019. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) preferred; Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor possible. The teaching schedule of five courses over two semesters (with lab sections counting as 1/2 course) will include an advanced elective in neurobiology with lab. Other teaching possibilities include a section of our highly regarded “Introduction to Biological Inquiry” course, our intermediate-level “Molecules, Cells, and Organisms” course and an advanced seminar in the applicant’s area of specialty.
