Job Details
We are seeking a Scientist with a background in autoimmunity to expand our Tolerance team in Research and Development. The successful candidate will have a passion for driving high-impact projects focused on the development of novel immune-therapeutics. This position demands effective collaboration with colleagues on different projects and regular presentation of scientific results to multidisciplinary teams and leaders.

Responsibilities:
- Isolate immune cells to test on the CellSqueeze platform
- Design and execute in vitro and in vivo studies to demonstrate proof-of-concept in pre-clinical models of autoimmune disease
- Contribute to experimental design and development of assays to characterize T cell responses in order to evaluate engineered immune cell function
- Mentor research associates
- Manage and support collaborations as a subject matter expert in immunology
- Clearly communicate findings to management and multidisciplinary group
Candidate must:
- Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Demonstrate the ability to critically analyze and present data

- Communicate clearly and concisely
Minimum qualifications:
- Ph.D. in immunology, biology, or related discipline
- 1-2 years post-doctoral experience in immunology preferred
- Deep knowledge of mechanism of action for diseases of autoimmunity
- Hands-on experience with in vivo adoptive transfer models in mice
- Expertise in in vitro assays and methods such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and intracellular cytokine staining
