Postdoctoral Research Scientist positions are available at the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City to study genitourinary cancers using genetically-engineered mouse models, organoid and explant models, and systems biology approaches. Areas of investigation include: (1) cellular plasticity, differentiation, and specification; (2) mechanisms of disease progression and metastasis; (3) pre-clinical investigations for prevention and treatment; and (4) systems biology approaches for cross-species investigations. Interested candidates should have a PhD and/or MD as well as relevant experience in molecular, cellular or systems biology and preferably with experience in the generation and/or analyses of genetically engineered mouse models.
