Available immediately for highly motivated recent Ph.Ds and/or MDs with strong training in biochemistry, bioinformatics,immunology,molecular and cell biology, virology,medicinal chemistryor chemical biology to participate in the following projects involving multidisciplinary teams of clinicians and basic science investigators: (a) investigate immunotherapy and immune exhaustion mechanisms by using CRISPR and RNAi; (b) identify RNA modification roles in regulating host-pathogen interactions by preforming biochemical and HT genomics studies; (c) develop and employ cancer stem cell based disease models; (d) identification and synthesis of new drug candidates to treat cancer and viral infections. Technologies employed in our projects include single cell genomics, bioinformatics, HT RNA-seq, gene editing, in vitro and vivo models for immunotherapy to treat cancer and viral infections, computational drug design and synthesis. Strong publication record and training to perform independent research are required for further consideration. We highly value and encourage applications from minority groups.
