Dr. Soona Shin’s laboratory in the division of Pediatric Surgery aims to decipher the molecular basis underlying liver cancer, with a focus on pediatric hepatocellular carcinoma and hepatoblastoma. A postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available to develop and characterize mouse models of liver cancer and patient-derived xenografts.

Requirements: A doctoral degree or equivalent (Ph.D. or M.D.) in biology or related field, along with a strong interest in liver cancer research is required. Experience with mouse models, cell culture, and viral vector-mediated gene expression is preferred.
