Postdoctoral Position in Stem Cell Biology and Parkinson's Disease

Postdoctoral positions or PhD studentships are available in Dr. Jian Feng’s laboratory at the Department of Physiology and Biophysics, State University of New York at Buffalo. Our research uses the human model system to study Parkinson’s disease. We generate patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cells and induced dopaminergic neurons to understand the unique vulnerabilities of human nigral dopaminergic neurons (e.g. Nature Communications 3:668, 2012; Nature Communications 6:10100, 2015; Cell Reports 19:1033, 2017). Qualifications for the positions include extensive research experience in molecular biology, cell biology and/or neuroscience. While previous experience in stem cell biology is highly desirable, we provide a valuable opportunity for those interested in learning stem cells technologies to advance their career. State University of New York at Buffalo is the largest campus of the SUNY system. Competitive salary and fringe benefits are provided to successful applicants. Please email your c.v. and a cover letter to:
