Postdoc Position in Cellular and Molecular Biology
One postdoc position is immediately available at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler (UTHSCT), to study lung stem/progenitor cells. The potential candidates should have an M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree and a strong background in primary alveolar stem/progenitor cells, including 3D organoid culture, FACS, confocal imaging, polarized epithelial monolayer and functional assays, and gene editing techniques. Preference will be given to those with significant experience in in vitro and in vivo evaluation of stem cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation as well as regulatory signals. Applicants should have demonstrated scientific productivity, good inter-personal and communication skills, and be able to conduct independent research. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills. Research laboratories are housed in a modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation.
