Research Fellow - Molecular Medicine/Oncology
We are seeking a postdoctoral Research Fellow who will support the Department of Molecular Medicine/Oncology. This one-year renewable position is focusing on the study of oncolytic viruses and interactions with the immune system, with a special emphasis on immunovirotherapy. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. or M.D. with significant laboratory experience and several first author publications, and have demonstrated excellence in written communication. They should be highly motivated and should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in immunology or immunotherapy research is required. Experience in virology and animal models of tumorigenesis is desired.
Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
