Postdoctoral Position in Innate Immunity
Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital, Boston Massachusetts
Postdoctoral positions are available in the Laboratory of Dr. Hongbo R. Luo, Professor of Pathology, Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital, to study signal transduction in innate immune system and the role of myeloid cells in tumorigenesis. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D. or M.D. and experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Neutrophil biology
- Cancer immunology
- Cell death (e.g. pyroptosis, necroptosis)
- Activation and regulation of the inflammasome
Successful applicants will have recently obtained a PhD or MD/PhD (within the last two years) in immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, or related discipline, and have at least one first-author paper. Previous experience in yeast two-hybrid screening, single-cell RNA-seq, fluorescence-based imaging and advanced multicolor flow cytometry will be valued. Successful applicants will receive a NIH Fellows Stipend plus Health Insurance. U.S. citizens and permanent residents may be eligible for fellowship support.
