Global Head of Epidemiology

CEPI is looking for a Global Head of Epidemiology to join the growing Vaccine Science team based in Oslo.

The overall objective of the Vaccine Science Team is to facilitate accelerated development of CEPI’s vaccine candidate portfolio.

The Global Head of Epidemiology will be responsible for leading the epidemiology team and coordinating epidemiology studies. They will develop epidemiological research plans and ensure epidemiological data is analysed appropriately and presented to CEPI’s Scientific Advisory Committees.

Integrated with the Vaccine Science team and working closely with colleagues across CEPI they will actively represent CEPI’s position with regulatory agencies and health authorities such as FDA, EMA, CDC, Ministries of Health and WHO.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and commissioning research projects – maintaining existing relationships and developing new ones to ensure timely delivery of agreed results.

You will need to have a Phd in a relevant subject and significant experience in epidemiology, regulatory, and leadership skills to develop pathogen specific strategies for epidemiology research
to facilitate vaccine development.
