ROLE of the POSITION
The new faculty member will be expected to: a) contribute to the undergraduate and graduate teaching in Analytical Chemistry, b) develop a vigorous externally- funded research program in an area of Analytical Chemistry (analytical, bioanalytical, forensic, or environmental), c) engage in service to the University and community, and d) mentor undergraduate and Ph.D. students in research.
The new faculty member will primarily teach existing courses in analytical chemistry: undergraduate Quantitative Analysis, Instrumental Analysis and General Chemistry; and, graduate Advanced Instrumental Analysis - Inorganic, Advanced Instrumental Analysis -Organic, and Quality Assurance and Statistics.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or a closely related analytical discipline (bioanalytical, forensic, or environmental). The successful candidate must possess a proven record of research accomplishments and post-doctoral research training or equivalent research/industrial experience.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
